Nearly 70 years ago, the mountains called Sikhote-Alin in eastern part of Russia were hit by a “piece of sun” as described by eyewitnesses. A 450 million year old meteorite after its long journey collided with planet earth and changed the Sikhote-Alin Mountains forever.
Ivan Dvorak Jewellery0 has got a hold of one of the pieces that hit the ground at a speed of 1118 mph and has decided to add it to its contemporary jewellery selection.
The meteorite weighing 59.20ct has been pulled out of a tree that it has been stuck to and set into 18 ct rose gold setting to make a unique ring.
Unfortunately nobody can buy this actual piece because it is already being worn by their company designer.
